History & Team

Proudly owned and managed by father and son team Howard and Devon Thomson.

Howard Thomson was the Co-founder of Discount Pawn Randgate in 1993. The humble beginnings of a small 100m2 shop 28 years ago has grown into us being really blessed in this current large facility. The building is owned and managed by Howard.

Alex is in charge of the online presense and you can also meet him in-store where he manages stock and is ready to anwer any questions you may have.

James is a front counter pawn broker and buyer specialising in hi tech goods, and is a very capable and popular member of the team.

On the floor you will find Israel, Andrea and KG who is standing by for any assistance you may require/

Andries Kgabedi is a front counter pawn broker and an external buyer. Andries is well trained and able to help any one of our clients with anything.

All our retailers are knowledgeable and ready and willing to assist you wherever they can. You as the client can rest assured that this team of people can assist you with any of your needs.
